AI-powered tax research built in India, for India
Indian tax law is vast, fragmented, and constantly evolving. CAs spend hours digging through acts, circulars, and notifications for answers that should be at their fingertips. TaxMarg uses AI to make that research instant, accurate, and fully cited, so professionals can focus on advising clients, not searching for sections.
What we cover
TaxMarg indexes the full breadth of Indian tax legislation: 22 acts, rules, circulars, notifications, and DTAAs. The knowledge base is structured into a graph of 28,000+ nodes and 81,000+ edges, mapping cross-references between provisions, amendments, and interpretations.
Founder

Kathan Mehta
Founder
Coming from a family of Chartered Accountants, Kathan saw firsthand how much time CAs spend searching through acts, circulars, and notifications for answers. With a background in AI/ML from Carnegie Mellon University and experience building production AI systems, he built TaxMarg to make Indian tax research instant, accurate, and fully cited, so professionals can focus on advising clients, not hunting for sections.
TaxMarg is built by a solo founder today, growing deliberately. We are actively looking for a CA co-founder and engineers who want to build the future of Indian tax research.
